There was a reveal party for Boudreaux the Komodo dragon at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011. The zoo has been without a Komodo dragon since February, when a Komodo Dragon named Hektor died. Komodo dragons are the largest lizards in the world.

When construction crews with Homes for Our Troops started on Friday morning, there were no walls standing at the homesite of Sgt. Jeffrey Adams. By Saturday afternoon, the family of Sgt. Adams had a home well on it's way. Sgt. Adams is a double amputee and was injured in Afghanistan.

Nearly 800 cashmere goats are grazing in Bear Creek Park East near the community garden until Tuesday, November 16. Every year, the Bear Creek Garden Association raises the funds to have the traveling goats visit and eliminate any use of chemicals near its organic community garden.
