The Japan-America Society of Southern Colorado held a Japanese Children's Day event at Colorado College on Saturday. Children attending learned about Japanese culture through the making of crafts, playing Japanese instruments and Japanese entertainment. This year a portion of the proceeds and donations collected will go to the victims of the recent disaster in Japan.
