Four New Homes for Christmas

Four new homes were dedicated for four families by Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanities on Sunday just in time for Christmas. Two of the homes went to refugees from The Congo in Africa and one to a refugee family from Cuba.

Four new homes were dedicated on Sunday just in time for Christmas. Two of the homes were built for two families that were refugees from The Congo in Africa. A fourth home was dedicated for a Cuban refugee family. The four families will be new neighbors in the Woodmen Vista area north of Woodmen Rd. The homes were dedicated on Sunday, December 19, 2010. African refugees Christina Simbenga, Flora Simbenga, and Elizabeth Simbenga say a prayer outside their new homes that were built for them by Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity. Four homes were dedicated for four families just in time for Christmas on Sunday, December 19, 2010. Siblings Denis Simbenga and Flora Simbenga and their families will live side by side. The Simbenga family were refugees from The Congo in Africa who were living in Tanzania and were sponsored to come to the United States by Lutheran Family Services.
