A handful of eager boys enjoyed a day-long class of rock climbing Thursday in North Cheyenne Canon Park. Guides Joe Groshong and Bruce Hamilton of CityRock led the clinic. Kids took turns learning and practicing the basics of rock climbing, including knots, safety equipment and belay systems. They also were versed in outdoor climbing etiquette. The guides were engaging, and the boys said they loved the experience.
