Caption: The hose crew carries hoses down Barr Trail Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, from the top of 14, 115-foot Pikes Peak to the Cirque aid station. The volunteers were preparing for this weekend's Pikes Peak Ascent and Marathon and the hose crew ran hose to the Cirque aid station about a mile and 1,000 feet below.
