Five Peaks is the burliest of the Cosmic Ski Mountaineering series. The race, which climbs Breckenridge's Peak 9, Peak 8 and Peak 7, not only included 8,650 ft of climbing, this year it also packed wind gusts over 50 mph.

When construction crews with Homes for Our Troops started on Friday morning, there were no walls standing at the homesite of Sgt. Jeffrey Adams. By Saturday afternoon, the family of Sgt. Adams had a home well on it's way. Sgt. Adams is a double amputee and was injured in Afghanistan.
